Activity 2: Different types of families in Pakistan and their roles
- Divide the participants into groups and ask them to write down on flip chart the following:
- First group: the role of the father in healthy family development. How should the father be involved in child care?
- Second group: the role of the family in child care and other members of the family.
- Ask the participants to draw a circle with the child in the middle.
- Who is the most important person in the child’s life - drawing a line from the child to the person and explain why?
- Discuss, especially the role of the father, in child care and development.
- Summarize and conclude.
