Activity 3: Opportunity to share and gain knowledge on how child bonds and forms attachment with others and importance of relationships formation during childhood

Divide the participants into four groups and ask each group the following question: Why is it important for the child to grow in a family with harmony and relationship to family and community members?
- Each group has to write their responses on a flip chart and present them later to the whole group.
- Discuss and summarize why a nurturing family environment is beneficial for child development.
- Explain to the participants that it is not always easy to communicate well as a family. Improving family communication takes practice, and taking time to communicate is even more important than practicing new skills. Ask participants if they have any questions.
- Ask them to explain how they think they could use this information concerning the family.
- Conclude the session.
